Miguel is a teenager who doesn’t have good opportunities in Cuicatlán, his hometown, so he decides to cross the northern border of Mexico in search of better living conditions. Reaching the United States is not easy, but he is able to do so and starts to make a living in his uncles business, who have been living there for some time. Accompanied by his trusty clay flute, Miguel feels he must pursue his greatest dream: to become a musician, but fate gives him the most unexpected surprises.
