Lucila was different from the other little girls. She loved to read and write. When she grew up she became a schoolteacher, and wrote essays and poems under the pseudonym Gabriela Mistral. She traveled the world and after many years of work was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature.
Lucila era una niña distinta a todas las demás. Leía mucho y le gustaba escribir. Trabajó como maestra de escuela, escribió ensayos y poemas bajo el seudónimo de Gabriela Mistral. Viajó por el mundo y años después recibió el Premio Nobel de Literatura.
