A young girl leaves home early with her mother: they are heading to the glass factory where they both work. It is February 1925, and she dreams of going to school to learn to read and write. “Don't be sad, my child. Later on, maybe you will be able to come to this school too,” her mother tells her every morning.
A book inspired by the first strike of child laborers recorded in Chile, the so-called "strike of the little glassmakers."

Una niña sale temprano de casa junto a su madre: van a la fábrica de cristales donde ambas trabajan. Es febrero de 1925 y ella sueña con ir a la escuela para aprender a leer y escribir. “No te pongas triste, mi niña. Más adelante, tal vez tú también podrás venir a esta escuela”, le dice su mamá cada mañana.
Un libro inspirado en el primer paro de niños trabajadores registrado en Chile, la llamada “huelga de los pequeños cristaleros”.
